that’s all of chelsea’s subs, right? torres remains benched for the whole game? i suppose that is almost as satisfying as if he’d come on and bumbled around for 15 minutes.
Its somewhat satisfying but that’s when it starts to venture towards potentially sad territory with the next step being playing in some random Asian league where he is forgotten by all with a low level of play and still manages to flame out. I like him being just good enough to stick around but constantly failing in spectacular ways. It’s fun that way.
alex, you are a wise man. if he’s not failing at one of the highest levels, what’s the point? if we can’t watch him disintegrate, is the schadenfreude even worth it?
