End Of An Era of the Day: 20,000 bullfighting fans packed Barcelona’s iconic La Monumental bullring to watch Catalonia’s last corrida, headlined by Spain’s #1 matador, José Tomás.

The regional ban on bullfighting, which was approved last year, officially goes into effect in January.

Awesome. No pity for these people. Hope the bull gores as many as he can on his way out. 

obvs there’s a culture divide but every time i’ve watched a bullfight i’ve wanted to puke. it’s a horrible, horrible thing. glad that it’s banned.
